Companion Electric Dryer - EIED50LIW Review | Gas Dryer - EIGD50LIW Review

Washer Pros and Cons
Cleaning An internal heater sanitizes clothes by raising the water temperature to the 150-160 degree range. High temperatures are the key to really getting clothes clean, removing stains, and killing hidden bacteria.
Cycles Number of available cycles and options is about average for a new washing machine. Generally the more cycles and options you have to choose from, the better the chance of meeting your clothing care needs.
Energy Modified Energy Factor is 17% higher than average and ranks in the top 20% of new washers for BEST energy efficiency. MEF = capacity / energy usage; the higher the factor, the less electricity it uses.
Water The EIFLW50LIW Water Factor is 23% lower than average and ranks in the top 10% of new washing machines for BEST water efficiency. WF = consumption / capacity; the lower the factor, the less water it uses.
Warranty Electrolux's above average warranty provides 2 years parts only on the drive motor, 2 years parts only on the drum, and one year parts and labor on the entire washer. Warranties are subject to change.
Price Price per cubic foot is 15% lower than average and ranks in the top 30% of new washing machines for BETTER affordability. Based on the MSRP, each cubic foot costs about $39 less than the average new washer.

Performance Ratings
Spin
Speed
1200 RPM - Maximum spin speed is 7% higher than average and ranks in the top 45% of new washers for BETTER moisture removal. Higher spin RPM usually shortens dryer time and often saves on energy use.
Temp
Control
Auto Temp Control - Automatically regulates the hot and cold water supply to ensure that water enters and stays at the proper temperature. On cold days the hot water runs longer or more often to compensate.
Wash
Motions
Standard Motions - Cleans using standard front load tumbling wash motions that are effective for most wash applications. Some models have unique motions that can help improve cold wash cleaning in particular.
Internal
Heater
Internal Heater - Uses an internal heater to achieve higher temps beyond your home's hot water supply. Hot water is the best way to remove stubborn stains. Key feature that makes a difference.
Steam
Clean
No Steam Cleaning - The Electrolux EIFLW50LIW does not have the capability to produce steam. Steam cycles are now available on about 40% of new washers, and they are very effective on soil removal.
Sanitize
Cycle
Sanitize Cycle - Water is heated to the 160-degree range where it kills most or all germs and bacteria. Helps ensure that your laundry is truly fresh-smelling by destroying odor-causing bacteria. NSF Certified.
Foam
Cleaning
No Foam Cycle - Powerfoam is only available on select Samsung washers. Foam cleaning has not proven to get your clothes any cleaner, but it can lessen wash-times and may be easier on certain fabrics.
Allergen
Cycle
No Allergen Cycle - While the EIFLW50LIW does not have an allergen cycle, it does have an internal heater with high temperature cycles that can reduce dust mites, pet hair, and other common allergens.
Water
Level
Automatic Water Level - Designed with sensors that detect the load size and then adjust the water level to achieve the best cleaning and rinsing performance. Convenient feature that also saves water.
Vibration
Control
Vibration Control - Actively works to keep the washing machine drum balanced during both wash and spin cycles. System is designed to absorb vibrations, reduce noise, and help prevent out-of-balance loads.
Wash
Drum
